DESCRIPTION:🚨 Updated Location🚨 \nThe site we had designated on E 12th has been cleared so we are going to focus our energy on another nearby area in need. We will meet at the location below at 9am\, on 8th St near 12th Avenue. Looking forward to seeing you all there! 🙂 \n📍This week’s location: 1300 E 8th St. \n🌴Residents are looking forward to our presence this Saturday so come on out to support them and make Oakland a better place for us all. It’s a fun way to spend a Saturday morning\, making friends and cleaning our streets. \n👩‍🌾If you have heavy duty rakes or scoop shovels that you no longer need\, we could always use a few more! \n🌻We approach this with compassion and kindness\, and build bridges between volunteers and our unhoused community. All are welcome (ages 16+). Please wear long pants and sturdy\, closed-toe shoes. All personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies are provided. \n💰Donations are always welcome! \n📝Please RSVP each time you plan to attend.
