DESCRIPTION:📍This week’s location: Lower Bottoms Park\, meet at 1448 3rd St \n🗑️A few weeks ago we cleaned up the trash in the street and our next target is inside the park. There is an encampment there whose residents are looking forward to our presence. Let’s make the park nicer for them and the neighborhood! Come on out to make Oakland a better place for us all. It’s a fun way to spend a Monday morning\, making friends and cleaning our streets. \n🌻We approach this with compassion and kindness\, and build bridges between volunteers and our unhoused community. All are welcome (ages 16+). Please wear long pants and sturdy\, closed-toe shoes. All personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies are provided. \n💰Donations are always welcome! \n📝Please RSVP each time you plan to attend.
