SUMMARY:Weekday Cleanup at Lower Bottoms Park
DESCRIPTION:📍This week’s location: Lower Bottoms Park\, meet at 1448 3rd St \n🗑️Two weeks ago we cleaned up 10\,000lbs of trash from inside the park and we’re going back to finish the job! All are welcome (ages 16+). Please wear long pants and sturdy\, closed-toe shoes. All personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies are provided. \n💰Donations are always welcome! \n📝Please RSVP each time you plan to attend. DESCRIPTION:This week’s location: 6th St. & Webster St. \nThere is an encampment under the overpass behind the Oakland Salvation Army that would like our assistance! A lot of trash has piled up and residents are looking forward to our presence this Saturday. Come on out to support them and make Oakland a better place for us all! \nWe meet on Saturdays at 9 am to clean up an area in need. We approach this with compassion and kindness\, and build bridges between volunteers and our unhoused community. All are welcome. Please wear long pants and sturdy\, closed-toe shoes. All personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies are provided. Donations are always welcome. \nPlease RSVP each time you plan to attend. Thank you for your support! \nQuestions: lee.h@urbancompassionproject.org
