SUMMARY:E 12th Encampment Cleanup #5!
DESCRIPTION:📍This week’s location: 1832 E 12th St. \n🌴This will be cleanup number 5 at the East 12th encampment and we are nearing 100\,000 pounds of illegally dumped waste removed! We’ll be hitting the large pile at E 12th and 19th avenue this week. Residents are looking forward to our presence this Saturday so come on out to support them and make Oakland a better place for us all. It’s a fun way to spend a Saturday morning\, making friends and cleaning our streets. \n👩‍🌾If you have heavy duty rakes or scoop shovels that you no longer need\, we could always use a few more! \n🌻We approach this with compassion and kindness\, and build bridges between volunteers and our unhoused community. All are welcome (ages 16+). Please wear long pants and sturdy\, closed-toe shoes. All personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies are provided. \n💰Donations are always welcome\, support the #east12thmovement! \n📝Please RSVP each time you plan to attend.
