Earth Day at Mosswood Park with Keep Oakland Beautiful

We’ve got a big event planned! We’ll be collaborating with Keep Oakland Beautiful to conduct a cleanup at Mosswood park. We’ll be covering the entire park; no litter will go unhunted!

Annnnnnd…we have another BIG surprise coming for all you 🐴 lovers, there will be horses!

Led in partnership with Mosswood Park, Keep Oakland Beautiful, Mosswood Community Gardens, YouthAlive!, Youth Empowerment Through Horses, Urban Compassion Project, Trees for Oakland, Oakland Parks, Recreation and Youth Development, Oakland Public Works, Mosswood Meltdown, Sidewalk Trees & Gardens, United Nations Association of the East Bay – We’re showing our love to our city together as One BIG Oakland Family!

❤️ Volunteers will be picking up litter, greening spaces, planting, and painting.

❤️ Mosswood Community Gardens is distributing free compost! Bring your own buckets!

❤️ Face painting, games and activities will be available for children!

❤️ Bring your pets (on leash!)

❤️ Yummy breakfast, lunch and water stations will be provided – please bring your own water bottle to reduce waste!

❤️ Check-in at the Basketball Court with all necessary cleaning supplies: pick up kits, gloves, vests, bags – all you need to do is show up for the 10:00AM start.

❤️ Groups are welcome but everyone must register.

Important Notes:

• Registration for this fun event ends Wednesday 4/17 at 6PM Pacific.
• While supplies last.
• Only registered volunteers will receive game day tickets.
• One (1) ticket per registered volunteer.
• Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
• Dogs must remain on leash as the dog run is currently under renovation.

Registered volunteers must arrive at 10:00AM and participate in the beautification and clean up on Saturday 4/19 to receive your ticket(s).
