Kirkham Street – Part 2!

Free📍Thursday location: 5th St & Kirkham St
🌴We will be back on Kirkham to finish the job! There is no immediate parking, but West Oakland Station is nearby and has a large lot ($13.50). There is also street parking in the area if you don’t mind a walk.
💖Residents living in this encampment are dealing with a lot of garbage and we’re going to finish clearing it all! Come on out and have a fun afternoon with us, making friends and cleaning our streets.
👩🌾If you have heavy duty rakes or scoop shovels that you no longer need, we could always use a few more!
🌻We approach this with compassion and kindness, and build bridges between volunteers and our unhoused community. All are welcome (ages 16+). Please wear long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. All personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies are provided.
