Compassion Threads
Free Clothing. More Dignity. Less Waste.
Compassion Threads is a pilot initiative of Urban Compassion Project (UCP) that extends our mutual aid efforts by redirecting high-quality clothing from landfills to individuals and families in need.
Designed to support those experiencing financial or housing challenges, Compassion Threads provides thousands of individuals with access to clothing at no cost, helping individuals meet everyday needs while reducing textile waste.
Each visitor can select five free clothing items from our available inventory, which includes:
- Adult clothing: Unisex sizes S–3XL, including T-shirts, hoodies, jackets and a limited selection of pants.
- Accessories: Hats, tote bags and shoes.
- Women’s and children’s clothing: A selection of gently used items, including more formal women’s attire.
Most of our inventory is brand new, with a focus on casual and streetwear styles. Availability varies based on current stock. Everything is free.
