Our Mission & Vision
Our mission is to bring health, welfare, and empowerment to those who are often overlooked, creating a network of support with community. Through our efforts, we aim to build bridges between our unhoused and housed, fostering understanding, compassion, and unity.
Our vision is a society imbued with empathy and solidarity, where comprehensive health and welfare services are accessible to all, and every person is empowered to reach their full potential. In this future, our community’s collective efforts lead to enduring change, setting a precedent for how society uplifts individuals through physical, financial and emotional disparities.

Cleanups
In collaboration with our unhoused neighbors and community volunteers, we conduct weekly cleanups throughout Oakland, that remove on average 1.2 tons of trash and debris from our streets, parks and waterways per cleanup. This debris poses public health, safety and environmental hazards. With every cleanup, we provide our unhoused neighbors with the tools necessary to sustain cleaner and safer areas themselves.
Mutual Aid
Every Thursday we distribute community donated mutual aid items to hundreds of our unhoused neighbors around the greater Bay Area.
We accept gently used and new items including, but not limited to:
Blankets, bedding and pillows, coats, clothing, shoes, toiletries, & kitchenware
Case Management
With a client centered care model, we put an emphasis on listening to clients and their needs, versus guiding them. This ensures that we can link clients to services and build case specific plans tailored for each individual.
Additionally, we offer national district trainings to further empower our team in delivering effective, personalized care to those we serve.
